Fentimans Flatlay New Range

Christmas is getting closer and I’m panicking about the fact I’m not even panicking at all yet. I’m super unorganised, as always. Fun fact: I attempted to start my christmas shopping yesterday but it just wasn’t meant to be. The first store I went in had a power cut as I was queuing to buy lots of christmassy bits and bobs. Naturally I left empty-handed and went home to eat Camembert and make a little festive mocktail whilst watching some vlogmas videos instead. Last month Fentimans kindly sent me this gorgeous hamper and I have finally cracked them open for a festive mocktail.

The christmas season is always heavily oriented towards drinking. If, like me, you don’t drink this time of year can be pretty frustrating. Especially when everyone is talking about their favourite tipple, stocking up on alcoholic beverages for the festive season, or even (sadly) giving you a hard time because you don’t drink.

Fentimans Rose Lemonade

But not drinking alcohol doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a tasty refreshing drink so here I am to share one of my favourite festive mocktails for December!

Fentimans are always one of my go to drinks whenever I’m heading out for a festive drink with friends. So, words cannot explain my excitement to find out they will soon be launching a range of 500ml mixers. It simply means that I’ll be able to treat myself to tasty homemade mocktails whenever I want.

If you caught up with my October plans post, you’ll probably know that I have big (biiiig) plans to get my first home next year. Apart from meaning lots of hard work decorating and renovating, it also means having the opportunity to play host. Next year, I’ll most definitely be stocking up on the Fentimans mixers whenever I’m planning to have guests over!

CHERRY ROSE LEMONADE

125ml Fentimans Rose Lemonade

100ml Fresh cherry juice

Sprig of rosemary

Handful of fresh berries for garnish

It’s simple yet utterly charming. The cherry and rose compliment each other perfectly. Adorning the drink with small blueberries, a spring of rosemary and festive ice cube stars definitely leaves me feeling festive.

MUDDLED GINGER BEER AND CRANBERRY

125ml Fentimans Ginger Beer & Muddled Lime

100ml fresh cranberry juice

Sprig of fresh mint leaves

Cinnamon sugar to line the glass

I also plan to mix up the Ginger Beer & Muddled Lime with cranberry juice, mint leaves and cinnamon sugar for another festive mocktail. As detailed above, this is set to be kind of like a virgin moscow mule with a christmassy kick. In my head it sounds amazing. I’ll be saving the recipe for this festive mocktail for a cozy night with christmas movies. With ingredients like ginger, cinnamon and cranberry, you can’t get much more festive than that!

I’ll be saving the other drinks for christmas parties with family and friends so whilst everyone is getting merry on prosecco, I can enjoy a tasty festive mocktail without having a sore head the next morning!

  1. Ooh these recipes sound amazing! I’m not much of a drinker either, so I tend to get left out when everyone has their share of prosecco… can’t wait to try these out though!

    1. Thank you lovely! I hope you had a fabulous Christmas :). I know exactly how you feel about the getting ‘left out’ thing. Fingers crossed with tasty mocktails you can still enjoy a yummy drink whilst joining in the fun xx
